Cabinet Design Specialist
Communicate directly with clients and salespeople
Interpret a supplied design into standard product offering
Prepare complete set of drawings for each project – to include elevations, floor plans, and 3D drawings
Prepare itemized quotes for projects
Process orders upon receipt of PO and manage project through completion
Quote and coordinate shipment of orders
Coordinate invoicing with accounting upon completion of projects
Collaborate with co-workers to ensure productive flow of projects
Manage multiple projects simultaneously with keen attention to detail
Customer service
Willingness to perform tasks outside core job description
Assembly Department – Team Member
Assembly of cabinets using 32 mm European cabinet construction, and conventional cabinet construction techniques
Machining doors, drawer fronts, and drawer bottoms using Blum and Mepla-Mat boring machines
Using hand tools, and power tools to complete custom cabinetsion
Shipping Department – Team Member
Clean and inspect each piece of product and be able to determine if quality meets company standards
Inner pack and box product to company specifications
Match product to packing list to ensure each order is shipped complete
Laminate Department – Team Member
Application of plastic laminate sheets onto various substrates including particle board, plywood, and melamine using contact spray adhesive and various trimming tools
Proficiency with various hand tools including routers, files, spray guns, rollers, belt sanders, and pneumatic hand sanders
Sanding and finishing of acrylic solid surface material, phenolic, plywood drawers, and other wooden materials
Machine Department – Edge Bander Operator
After initial training the operator should have an understanding of each station on the edged bander and be able to make fine adjustments to finish parts correctly
Using the correct banding programs, finish parts correctly with a high standard of quality and accuracy, and identify any imperfections on the face of the panels or the edge banding itself
Follow directions on the product label to select the correct edge banding, finish in the correct sequence, and follow production schedule to complete jobs in order
Machine Department – CNC Operator
Operate and maintain CNC Machine to ensure parts are machined correctly
Inspect parts for quality
Communicate with engineering to correct discrepancies
Coordinate the job sequence to maintain the flow of jobs through the plant
